Get ready for a night of music, creativity, and hands-on making, as the artists and musicians of Do Your Own Thing take over National Gallery Friday Lates! This free event is all about fun, self-expression, and trying something new.

Artist Richard Phoenix will also be there, discussing his new audiobook about the Do Your Own Thing project. For the full programme of the night and more information, see below.

Event schedule:

Julie Andrews Electric Wave Dancefloor (Ground Floor)
6pm - Introduction to the evening with Nyla & Emmet, plus a performance from Chapman
6:15pm - 8pm - Dance the night away to with the Do Your Own Thing DJ Crew

Art Cave (First Floor)
6:15pm - 8pm - Drop in and take part in free-flowing art activities including painting, colouring in and costume making

Sensory Space (First Floor)
6:15pm - 8pm - A chill out sensory space to make digital art and music

Social Space (Second Floor)
6:45pm - 7:45pm - Join Ono as she chats to Jeremy Deller and Richard Pheonix about their creative practice. Plus, we celebrate the launch of Richard’s audiobook all about Do Your Own Thing!

Sausage the Snake Dragon Parade (Ground Floor)
8:15pm - Meet us on the dancefloor, then join Sausage the Snake Dragon for a celebratory parade to close the evening!
